Festival Week Model Yacht Race

There was a tremendous turnout for the postponed Kinramer Trophy model yacht race yesterday evening, with nine boats competing - the largest number of racers in many years.

On a beautiful summer's evening, there was also a great turnout of spectators, to watch Fergus McFaul (racing single-handed) take first place, with Brian Teggart and Aoife O'Broin Molloy coming second and Conor and Cathal McCurdy coming in third. Congratulations to them all. The next race will be the Guesthouse Shield which will be held in mid-August.
