Maeve and Mairéad present "A Burning Collection" Exploring the musical links between Ireland and Scotland

Mairéad O'Donnell and Maeve McCann are a dynamic duo in folk music. They bring together a combination of 4 different instruments and singing for performances with variety, intimacy and energy. Mairéad is a fiddle player, singer and composer from Co. Limerick. She has a lively and effortless style of playing as well as a rich and natural singing voice. Maeve is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Co. Fermanagh. She has received awards for her playing on the whistle, bodhrán and Uilleann pipes and has published compositions in multiple collections. Her playing is raw and sensitive and her compositions are evocative.
