RATHLIN SOUND MARITIME FESTIVAL 2015 - FRI 22 MAY

Round Rathlin Sunset Cruise
Departing Ballycastle at 5pm, returning approximately 7pm. Enjoy on board live music and great views. Tickets £20, concessions available, booking is essential. Hosted by the Rathlin Island Ferry Company. Tel: 028 2076 9299 for details and to book.

Fancy Dress Parade
6.30pm From the Diamond in Ballycastle to the Seafront. Prizes for best Maritime Themed dressed, starts at 6.30pm Hosted by Ballycastle Community Development Group (BCDG) and Rathlin Development and Community Association (RDCA)

Blessing of the Boats
7.30 pm to 8.30pm, Rathlin Island Ferry Company/ Ballycastle Harbour. Come along to witness and experience this unique tradition of the ‘Blessing of the Boats’. Local vessels and seafarers are blessed for a safe passage at sea. Opportunity to board the Rathlin Island Ferry (Free) to go out to sea for final element of blessing. Everyone welcome. Service Hosted by Ballycastle Church Action Group, Community & Council.
