RATHLIN SOUND MARITIME FESTIVAL 2015 - SAT 23 MAY

Introduction to Animation Workshop
Saturday 23rd May - 11.30, Parochial Hall. Introduction to Animation Workshop - from the creators of the hit children’s animated TV programme “Puffin Rock”. Puffin Rock follows the adventures of puffin Oona, her little brother Baba and their family and friends on a wild and beautiful island off the coast of Ireland so there are lots of ways to find similarities between the fictional island and beautiful Rathlin! The Introduction to Animation workshop will use flip books, clips, and sketches etc., and is open to young (8+) and old alike (up to 30 people), to work with some of the Puffin Rock team, and to do stuff rather than being talked at!

Traditional music session
Live traditional Irish session in McCuaig’s Bar at 9pm. Come along and join Buzzceol for a lively evening of traditional Irish music! Cormac Ó Briain has been playing the pipes for over 25 years in sessions around Ireland. He will be joined by other musicians in what is guaranteed to be a lively session.
