RATHLIN SOUND MARITIME FESTIVAL 2017 - SAT 3 JUN

Morning/Afternoon Have a go kayaking, Rathlin Harbour
Beginners welcome to try their hand with a paddle and a kayak in the safe company of expert tutors.

11am Moana - film, Parochial Hall
We welcome IntoFilm’s return to Rathlin to screen Moana, an immensely popular Disney film. The film tells the story of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of the chief of a Polynesian tribe, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with a goddess. When a blight strikes her island, Moana sets sail in search of Maui, a legendary demigod, in the hope of saving her people.

12.30 – 4.30pm Cool kids face painting, Seafront
Free face painting – come and add a bit more creative Festival sparkle to your smile...

Glens of Antrim Comhaltas - music and dance, McCuaig’s Bar, 2pm
Come along and enjoy the flavour of traditional Irish music from the Glens

Afternoon Armagh Rhymers, Seafront if good weather or McCuaig’s Bar
The Armagh Rhymers are one of Europe’s most celebrated folk theatre ensembles. A respected professional group of entertainers that have delighted audiences for over 30 years with a unique blend of Mumming, poetry, music, drama, song and dance. Their style is deeply rooted in the old Irish Mumming traditions and they are easily recognised by their willow masks.

Full Shillin’, McCuaig’s Bar, from 9pm
