RATHLIN SOUND MARITIME FESTIVAL 2017 - WED 31 MAY

10.30am and onwards, Sounding out Rathlin art and sound, Parochial Hall
A creative, fun adventure experimenting with images and making new sounds from Rathlin’s landscape. Come and play and discover the island in a new way.

2.30pm Rathlin Nature, up close and personal, Parochial Hall.
Award-winning wildlife photographer and Rathlin resident, Tom McDonnell, will present an outstanding display of images of nature from the island and beyond

7.30 Model Yacht Race & BBQ, Ushet Lough
Stroll down to the beautiful freshwater Ushet Lough in Rathlin’s Lower End for a traditional model yacht race. These races have taken place on Rathlin for many years, with hand-carved wooden boats set to sail a course across the lough and back. Enjoy the scenery and the spectacle (and the BBQ in aid of the RNLI!) of this traditional island community event. There may also be music!
