Rathlin's Ancient DNA: Public Talk
RATHLIN'S ANCIENT DNA: PUBLIC TALK
Continuing the popular and successful heritage project that has included DNA analaysis, oral history and tour guide training, we will have a visit to the island from the leading genetics expert Professor Dan Bradley of Trinity College Dublin.
Professor Bradley will explain how human genetics can be used to better explain the past, and how it is helping to rewrite the history of the Europeans. The talk will cover the fascinating information gleaned from the discovery of three 4,000 year old Bronze Age bodies discovered on the island.
The public talk will be held on Monday 2nd December at 7.30pm in the Richard Branson Centre. All welcome.
