SÚIL LINES OF LONGITUDE

Derry art gallery Void’s ongoing collaboration with Cork artist Clare McLaughlin continues with SÚIL Lines of Longitude taking place on Rathlin Island on September 10th 2021.

Exploring the shoreline on Rathlin Island and considering lines of longitude which give us our precise location when coupled with the lines of latitude, this art project invites visually impaired people to join us on a sculptural and sensory walk on the Island. It is the 5th in the SÚIL series; previous walks have taken place on Cape Clear, Sherkin Island and Antigua in the Carribean.
