Arpillera Meeting

There were sixteen people in the Richard Branson Centre this morning to hear Roberta Bacic speak about the Latin American tradition of arpilleras - story-telling quilts.

The group was inspired by Roberta's enthusiasm and experience, and will be working towards an exhibition of quilts on the Island, and continuing quilt-making with Island residents this Autumn. Many thanks to all who came along, and to Roberta for coming over to the Island.
