Co-op Fundraising Quiz

Thanks to everybody who supported the Co-op's fundraising quiz on Saturday night in the Manor House.

Seven teams participated in all, with first place going to 'The Upper Enders': Gusty and Judy McCurdy and Penny Sewell, second place to 'Robin Reliants': Imelda McFaul, Paul Quinn and Robin Chapple, and third place to 'A Right Pair': Patricia McCurdy and Seamus Walsh.

The winning teams graciously donated their prize monies to the Co-op, so along with the quiz entry fees and the raffle, the event was a very successful fundraiser and a great night. Many thanks to Penny Sewell and Mary Hannahan for all the delicious food, and Jessica Bates for being quiz master.
