Coastguard 40 Years Long Service Presentation

Many congratulations to Jim McFaul who was presented with a second clasp to his Coastguard long service medal, representing forty years of service, by Brett Cunningham, the Coastal Safety Manager for South West Scotland and Northern Ireland in the Station yesterday.

There was a large group of well wishers from the island community present as well as Sector Manager, Belfast North, Gordon Munro, and a strong turnout from Jim's colleagues in the island's Coastguard team. Everyone present were keen to show their appreciation for Jim's record of service to the island, and also to express their thanks to Brett Cunningham who retired from the Coastguard earlier this month.
