Coastguard Campaign Update

Many Rathlin residents have already taken the time to support the island's coastguard team by filling in the online form letter to MLAs and the MP on the PCS website (see this news story).

Further to this, there is a lot of useful information on the Belfast Coastguard's website, as well as on the MCA's website.

Anyone concerned about the Westminster government's plans to drastically cut back the Coastguard service - in particular the threat to the Belfast Coastguard Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre - can make their voice heard with the form letters to politicians, and with the online questionnaire on the MCA page linked above. Please consider giving this campaign your support.
