Many thanks to those who were able to make the Manor House Cup model yacht race last Sunday 11th July, which kicked off this year's Festival Week, and congratulations to the three placed crews.

First place went to Brian Teggart and Becky Wilson, second place to Stephen Ryan and Jessica Bates, and third place went to Douglas Cecil and Barbara Henderson. Interestingly, all three of these boats were built over the winter with Loughie McQuilkin, so thanks again to Loughie for all his expertise and hard work with us.

Last night's Scrabble championship was well attended, with a final round played between Babs Connor, Jessica Bates and Teresa McFaul. Congratulations to Teresa on winning this year's championship. If anyone has any more Festival Week news or photos, please email us.
