We are deeply saddened to learn of the untimely death of Joe Breen - a long standing and good friend of Rathlin - after a short illness.

'Breen June 24th 2024 peacefully in Ballycastle (after a short illness), Joseph (Joe) OBE dearly loved husband of Huggy, 4 Rathlin View, Ballycastle much loved father of Sarah and Joe, father in law of Mark and Louisa, beloved son of Patricia and the late Desmond, dear brother of Desmond, Mairin and Oona and a dear brother in law, uncle and nephew.

Funeral from his home on Friday at 12noon to Holy Trinity Church for Service at 1.00pm (broadcast at https://churchmedia.tv/holy-trinity), followed by a private cremation.

Callers welcome at his home on Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm and Thursday from 3pm to 7pm.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Community Rescue Service c/o DJM Robinson & Son, 121 Culcrum Rd, Cloughmills, BT44 9DT.
