Music Lessons

Thursday 29 April 2010

The initial meeting to discuss music lessons on the island was well attended with both adults and children keen to learn a variety of instruments.

Michael and Catherine Sands will be giving lessons on alternating Saturdays in the Richard Branson Centre, 1.00-3.00, starting from this Saturday 1st May. Michael will start off with lessons in guitar, mandolin and Irish tenor banjo, with Catherine offering lessons in tin whistle and flute from Saturday 8th May. The RDCA are subsidising the lessons by waiving the rent for the use of the Richard Branson Centre, and covering the travel expenses of Michael and Catherine. The fee for the lessons is £10, and anyone who couldn't make the first meeting is very welcome to come along this Saturday or next, with all levels of expertise catered for.
