New Rathlin Book: 'An Island Childhood'

Monday 15 November 2010

Gusty McCurdy's new book tells the story of growing up on Rathlin during the 1930s. This was a time when farming and fishing provided a living for most islanders and the Gaelic language was still spoken, a different world!

It is currently on sale in McListers bookshop in Ballycastle, and in Hannaway's shop, and Catriona's Island Treasures shop on Rathlin.

For further information see Gusty's website, or email him at gusty.mccurdy@sky.com.
