Rathlin CD

Many congratulations to all involved with the production of the new "Rathlin Craic" CD. The project, funded principally by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and also by the island's own participatory budgeting initiative, the "Grugagh's Gold", the recording is the culmination of a lot of time and commitment by a group of talented singers and musicians on the island. All this was particularly challenging throughout the lockdowns and other restrictions of this year, and so the CD is an especially welcome addition to Rathlin's cultural landscape. And it would make a great Christmas present!

Elisabeth Vogel commented that "We are so thrilled to have our Rathlin CD ready to go! Did you ever wonder what we actually do in the winter...? This CD presents a diverse collection of music from and by the island community, featuring singing, Trad band, Blues, classical and more! Big big thanks to everybody involved, it was great fun. The CDs are now available at Rathlin Co-op Shop and at the Rathlin Post Office/Island Treasures, who are also shipping them worldwide. Contact them for more details."
