Waste Collections on Rathlin

No-one on the Island has up to date training to operate the council bin lorry so it can't be used. The council are happy for Stewart (Thanks Stewart) to use the cage lorry door to door for Black and Blue bins (mixed is acceptable).

If people want to continue recycling then bins will be available at the harbour to stockpile that material once their own bin is full, people will have to take their own blue waste to the harbour.

There will be no provision for brown bin collection, so either self-compost or add to black bin waste in bin liners.
It is important that all waste is bagged in bin liners going forward. The council will be providing additional bin liners.
