Willow Lanterns Workshop

Around thirty five island residents turned up at the Hall on a freezing cold Saturday afternoon to take part in some messy fun.

Working with Belfast Streetwise Community Circus, 100 beautiful willow lanterns were constructed to be used for the Christmas lights switch-on, as well as other future community events.

Many thanks to Jim and Logie from Streetwise for their expertise and enthusiasm and of course to everyone who turned up and enjoyed the day.

Come along on Sunday 19th December for the Christmas lights switch-on!
