Zeak Gage RIP

The Committee of the RDCA, along with the wider Rathlin community, would like to pass on their sincere condolences to the Gage family on the passing away of Zeak earlier this week. The family has conveyed the following message:

"Zeak Gage sadly passed away on the 10th August at the care home where he had been staying since June. Zeak's love for Rathlin and its islanders was extremely strong right up until his final days, and represented a huge part of his life and that of his family and friends.

Zeak's funeral will be held on the 11th September near his home in England, but the Gage family are planning a service on Rathlin in the coming months where they can celebrate Zeak's life with the Rathlin community and lay him to rest in the place he held so dear. Frances and family also very much appreciate all the support they're receiving from the people of Rathlin and the wider community since Zeak's passing."
