Illustrated talk by Dr Jonathan Wills on Shetland's Oil & Gas

Dr Jonathan Wills, a member of Shetland Islands Council and of the Shetland Charitable Trust, will give an illustrated talk in the Parochial Hall on Sunday 16th September at 8.00.

There will also be a further opportunity for more questions and discussion in the Hall on Monday 17th at 7.00. The talk is titled 'Shetland’s Oil & Gas, 1972-2012: A Forty Year Learning Curve'. Dr Wills is the author of 'A Place in the Sun', a study of the development of the oil terminal at Sullom Voe in Shetland.
