Public Meeting with Providence Resources
Wednesday 16 March 2011
There will be an important public meeting next Tuesday 22nd March with representatives from Providence Resources, including their chief executive Tony O'Reilly Jnr. The meeting is intended to give island residents the opportunity to get more information about the petroleum licence issue, and to ask questions of the company intending to drill on Rathlin.
Providence has been busy recently making announcements about its intentions for Rathlin and other sites in Ireland - see the Media section for the links. The meeting will be held in the Parochial Hall at 6.30 on Tuesday 22nd March. All are welcome.
