RDCA Committee Nominations

The deadline for nominations for the RDCA Committee passed yesterday afternoon. There was a very high level of interest, with a total of six nominations for four vacancies on the Committee.

(Alison McFaul has chosen to seek a mandate for her existing place on the Committee, as she initially joined the Committee last year without the need for a vote, as there were fewer nominations than vacancies.)

This means there will now be six candidates for four places on the Committee, instead of the initially advertised three places.

The six nominees are, in alphabetical order: Michael Cecil, Tom McDonnell, Alison McFaul, Fergus McFaul, Marina McMullan and Ksenia Zywczuk.

The election will now be held on Wednesday 13th April (earlier than previously advertised, in case of a tied vote and the need for a re-ballot). The vote will be held with a ballot box in the Resource Centre, 10.00-6.00. All members of the RDCA are entitled to vote. Voting will be by first-past-the-post: voters can place an X beside their candidate of choice. The result will be announced at the AGM at 7.30 in the Parochial Hall on Monday 18th April.
