Volunteer Visit

Tuesday 15 June 2010

A group of students from Susquehanna University, Pennsylvania visited the island today as part of their volunteering programme with Corrymeela.

The group did gardening work for some of the older island residents, as well as improving the area around the entrance to the Richard Branson Centre. The group were also brought up to the RSPB Seabird Centre by the RDCA, as part of a tour of the island. Many thanks to all of them and the Corrymeela staff and volunteers for all their hard work, and for the continuing relationship between the island community and Corrymeela.
