On Wednesday 7 October 2009, representatives of the Department of Regional Development, working with the RDCA held a public consultation event in Bruce's Kitchen about the DRD's proposed policy for the island.
The photo competition was a great success: 47 individuals entered, with a total of 103 entries. The standard of the entries was very high, and the judging panel of Tom McDonnell, Marina McMullan & Ann Henderson had to make some very difficult decisions.
Congratulations to Ksenia McFaul, chef Willie Campbell and all the team at the Manor House on winning the restaurant category of the 2009 Menu of Moyle competition.
Many congratulations to David Hannaway and Seamus McMullan who received 20 year long service medals from Coastguard Sector Manager Gordon Munro in McCuaig's Bar on Thursday 24 September.
