The 2010 RDCA AGM will be held in the Parochial Hall on Wednesday 14th April At 7.00 p.m. Any nominations for Committee membership must be submitted to the RDCA Secretary by 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday 7th April.


Holiday Fair Exhibition

Rathlin Island Ferry Ltd is organising a Holiday Fair Exhibition in the Hall on Wednesday 28th April. This will provide a platform for island businesses to showcase their goods and services. Anyone interested in availing of this opportunity should contact the ferry office.


Removal of Scrap Cars

Rathlin Island Ferry Ltd is offering to remove free of charge scrap cars from the island, when there is space on the Canna before Easter. Owners must be able to get the cars down to the harbour. Please contact the ferry office if you have a car to be taken off the island.

Ferry Residents' Passes

The Department for Regional Development has informed the RDCA that not all residents have applied yet for the new residents' 'swipe card' ferry passes. To avoid disappointment, anyone who has not done so already should return immediately the forms that were sent out by the DRD to residents in February.

The RDCA Committee are pleased to announce that the 2010 AGM of the Irish Islands Federation will be held on Rathlin on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th May. More details will be announced shortly.


Moyle District Council Public Art Tender

Moyle District Council has anounced an artist will be appointed to produce a piece of public art for the Rathlin harbour. It is anticipated that the project will be completed by January 2011. 'Pre-Qualification Response' documents must be submitted to the Council by Friday 16th April. More information is available here.
