Vaccine Update for 60-64 Year Olds

The Department of Health has issued the following statement on the extension of the vaccine programe to 60-64 year olds.

"People who are aged 60-64 can now book a Covid-19 vaccine online at one of the trust vaccination centres.

To make an appointment please visit the online portal: COVID-19 Vaccine Service for NI.

The online platform is the primary source to book an appointment and should be used in the first instance.

Vaccine Scam Alert

The Northern Health and Social Care Trust has notified their staff that there is a vaccine scam being attempted by emailing people with false information. The Rathlin nurses have asked us to pass on this important message.

Manor House Reopening Date

The Manor House has announced the date for their reopening this year. Covid-19 has obviously caused huge changes for businesses on the island, as elsewhere, and we wish the Manor House team all the best with their plans for this year.

Nicky Sebastian, Rathlin resident and author of "Eight Walks on Rathlin Island" has a new book published tomorrow, Friday 18th December. Titled "Rathlin Island Cemetery. An Account of Those Buried Here - Their Lives and Times", the book is available from Island Treasures and directly from Nicky.
