Ferry & Post Office & Harbour Cafe Winter Hours

The Ferry timetable will switch to the winter hours next Monday 24 September. The Post Office will also change its opening hours to 10.00 to 2.00. Also from Monday 24, the Harbour Cafe will be open 12.00 to 4.00, Monday to Wednesday (closed Thursdays), 11.00 to 5.00 Fridays and Saturdays and 11.00 to 4.00 on Sundays until the end of October, and will confirm opening hours for the rest of the winter before then.

Cllr Sandra Hunter, Chair of Moyle District Council and Caroline Carey, acting Tourism Development Manager for Moyle visited Rathlin on Wednesday 22nd August for the presentation of certificates including ‘World Host’, a customer care training programme, to Rathlin Island residents and workers.

Kelp Store restorations

Many people will have noticed the work going on recently on the Kelp Store. The National Trust has hired specialist contractors to stabilise the walls of the Store.
