DOE Rathlin Island European Site Management Scheme

The Department of Environment's new Rathlin Island European Marine Site Management Scheme Consultation Report has been published. The deadline for the submission of responses is 4 March 2013. The full document is available here. The RDCA has received a limited number of hard copies of this report, and will be distributing these to island households shortly.

Resource Centre Christmas Closing

The Resource Centre will close for the Christmas holidays on Friday 21st December and will reopen on Monday 7th January. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone!

Dominic McCurdy finished his last day of work yesterday on the ferry after many years service to the island community, and will retire shortly. Congratulations and enjoy many happy years of your retirement Dominic!

We have changed the look and the layout of the site, and we hope you will like it. The new version of Rathlin Community is intended to further improve communication within the island community, and to better inform the wider public about Rathlin and what the island has to offer.
