New Items for the Recycling Blue Bin

Moyle District Council has announced that from now on, aerosols, cartons (including tetra paks), plastic yoghurt pots & butter tubs, plastic food trays and containers can be recycled in the blue bins.

Christmas Lights Switch On

On Friday 11th December the RDCA organised the annual switching on of the Christmas lights. The community gathered in the Parochial Hall and Pound Garden for hymns, mince pies and wine as the lights were duly turned on. Thanks to Gerry McFall and the ferry crews for all their help.

Radon Gas Warning

According to a report in this week's Ballymoney Times, "potentially dangerous" levels of radon gas have been detected in the "western half of Rathlin Island".
